  • Broken Washing Machine



    Hello, I've been dealing with Sears' home-repair company since November 2013 trying to get a Washing Machine repaired. I've taken time off work at least a half of dozen times to either wait for a technician who did now show up, get here and tell me it's a two-person job and leave, or to tell me parts need to be ordered. Sears tried to offer $500 but after my paying $300 dollars for, what was told, an all-inclusive policy, towards a new washer. My washer would be worth more than the "200 dollars" left over.   • Broken Washing Machine

  • Broken Washing Maching WITH Standing Water



    I called on 3/17 and scheduled a repair on my Kenmore Elite washing machine. They gave me an appointment on 4/2. I have to wait 16 days with a broken washing machine that has standing water in it! My appointment was schedule from 3pm-7pm o. 4/2. My husband took 4.5 hrs off of work, with NO pay, to be at home. We got a phone call around 7:30pm from the tech to say he wasn't going to make it because they were short staffed and they had a lot of sick calls. He instructed me to call the 1-800 number and reschedule. I did so immediately, but since it was 7:30pm the local office was closed!... More...

  • Broken Sears Kenmore washer



    Sears Home Service Repair -- I am totally disgusted with the service I am currently NOT receiving from your Blue Service Crew. I had an appointment today for my washer to be serviced. The appointment was from 8a-12pm (expected time of repair tech). He didn't arrive until almost 2pm. I called THREE times requesting an ETA and NEVER received one. So he just showed at his leisure.   • Craftsman Snowblower won't run



    I purchased a Craftsman Snow blower from Sears and it didn't work great the first two times it ran, but it got the job done. Went to use it the third time today and it wouldn't run. I called Sears about it, as the snow blower is under the extended warranty that I bought it with and they informed me that it would be 20 days (Jan 9) before someone would be able to take a look at it. I think it is ridiculous that after spending over $500 dollars on the snowblower plus what I spent to get the extended warranty with home repair, I had to wait 20 days to get the snow blower fixed, heck...   • Can't get HVAC Repaired!!!



    I am writing to you in need of customer help. We have been through all the avenues Sears has provided and after 31 days of calls, cancelled service calls, no status on parts, and rude Sears people we still have no AC or heat now and still no end in sight. This began on September 3rd when we noticed our AC was not blowing out cold air. We called Sears to get repair.   • Won't cancel protection



    I purchased a Protection Agreement, under the advice of the Sears rep on the phone who convinced me it was the way to go, after explaining that it was a Visa Warranty claim. After speaking to Visa Warranty, protection agreements will not be covered, even if the cost is less than the cost of repair. Now, what I need is to have proof of cancellation of the Protection agreement and be charged for the repair.   • The worst



    We notified sears of a problem with our refrigerator august 8. A technician came august 10th to diagnose. Gave a diagnosis that it needed major repair costing $800+ dollars. This was the second time it needed major repair and a new unit is $999! Then he gave us all sorts of incorrect information. Frequent follow up calls got us information that indicated the unit was still covered by warranty due to the most recent repair. So we were happy we didn't take the tech's word for it.     I wrote a complaint on the Sears wall yesterday about Sears messing up my service appointment and leaving me stuck without my dryer for another week, and the horrendously poor assistance I got from the 1st customer service person I called.   • Central Heating Unit



    Our air conditioning went out May 28, we called customer service and they said they could not get anyone to go out until June 8th. We were told they would call June 7th to let us know when someone would come out, which was anywhere between 8 am and 5 pm. Around 6 pm we called to say no one had come and they told us there was no one in our area, and that someone couldn't come until June 18th!
